Review: Trying Pentel oil pastels. Cheap but any good?

Hi everyone. I bought those Pentel oil pastels the other day and wanted to discover how they perform, if I can say, with you. These are really cheap, 6.24 pounds for 50 sticks. There are actually 49 colors. My review video isn't an in-depth review. I'm a complete beginner at using oil pastels and I cannot pretend to be able to judge them comparing to other pastels. These is rather a review for you to see if they are worth spending your money or not by drawing simple strokes on a printer paper. I actually like how the colors came out on the paper. After making this video, I drew a few drawings with it and it came out nice. I'll talk about it in another video. If you want to try out oil pastels by yourself, I think these might be a good option. Now, comparing to my girlfriend's Sennelier oil pastels, the Pentel ones are quite dry. The good thing is that you end up with less pastel on your fingers in the end. It might be good for your kids. They might not like the strong smell though. It reminds me of oil, but not like pastel oil, rather like car gasoline or tires smell. It's strong but I can bear with it. As for the blender I used in this video, it's from Caran d'Ache. Hey you! I thought that the time was ripe for me to sit down and review some of my most used art and journaling supplies. And of course, I had to start with the Pentel Aquash Water Brush Pens! These brush pens draw so many questions from my readers and subscribers alike, so I thought I would break down what they are, what they can do, and why they are some of my favorites. One of the reasons that the Pentel Aquash Water Brush Pens are some of my most-grabbed pens is because they directly helped me get back into art. A huge barrier for my art was fear - specifically, fear of not making something "worthy". I got it in my head that EVERY time I sat down to paint had to result in something amazing. This anxiety was only compounded by the huge spread of materials I needed to set up and tear down every time I painted. Watercolor paper, paints, water glasses, paper towels, paint brushes, etc... But when I got my hands on the Pentel Aquash Water Brush Pens, I realized that it didn't have to be so complicated. These water brushes allowed me to paint with half of the supplies and half of the pressure, making it a million times easier to just create.
